President, Southeast Medical Imaging

Dr. Muetterties, President of Southeast Medical Imaging, LLC and Medical Director for the Brinton Lake Imaging Center, received his Medical Degree from the University of California, Davis Medical School. Upon the completion of a combined internship in Surgery and Internal Medicine at Swedish Medical Center in Seattle, he went on to the University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle to complete his residency in Diagnostic Radiology and Fellowship in Angiography and Interventional Radiology. He has received awards for Outstanding Achievement as a Medical Student and an Award for Excellence in Radiology. Dr. Muetterties is board certified in Diagnostic Radiology with added qualification (CAQ) in Interventional Radiology and Angiography. He has been a member of Southeast Radiology, LTD (SERL) professional group since 1998, and is currently serving on the SERL Board of Directors as Secretary. Dr. Muetterties is an active staff member at several hospitals, with Attending privileges at Crozer Chester Medical Center, Taylor Hospital, Riddle Memorial Hospital, and Springfield Hospital.

Dr. Muetterties is a member of several organizations, including the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, the Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR), the Philadelphia Angiography and Interventional Radiology Society (PAIRS), the Radiological Society of North America, American Roentgen Ray Society, American Medical Society, and the Pennsylvania Radiological Society. Dr Muetterties is the past president of PAIRS (2003-04). He is currently active on the Educational Committee for SIR where he helped develop an informational internet web site on Interventional Radiology for medical students and establish online curriculum for residency training. He has authored numerous abstracts and manuscripts in peer reviewed journals, as well as a U.S. patent for a group of contrast agents for use in medical imaging. Dr Muetterties is also an expert consultant for the G.E. Healthcare Contrast Media Division.

Dr. Muetterties has obtained special training in a variety of minimally invasive procedures including: Angiography with special interests in uterine fibroid embolization, regional cancer therapy including chemo-embolization and radiofrequency ablation, Vertebroplasty, endovascular therapies for peripheral vascular disease, carotid stenting, endograft repair of abdominal aortic aneurysms. Areas of special interest in diagnostic imaging include: Vascular imaging including coronary CT angiography, peripheral CT angiography, conventional angiography, MRA, vascular duplex imaging, and non-invasive testing. Director of Women's Imaging

Dr. Lisa Collazzo has been practicing with Southeast Radiology for the past 7 years. She is a graduate of University of Maryland Medical School in 1993. She completed a Diagnostic Radiology Residency at The Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in 1998, also receiving her board certification from The American Board of Radiology that same year. Although Dr. Collazzo interprets CT, ultrasound, and plain radiographs, she has a particular interest in Womens' Imaging, having focused her residency in this area. Dr. Collazzo has been excited at the introduction of Digital Mammography to the group's Breast Imaging Program. Digital Mammography coupled with breast ultrasound, breast MRI, pelvic ultrasound and bone densitometry are technologies which she believes offer women in this region quality comprehensive imaging tailored to current womens' health needs and concerns.
